Due to the late notice on the upcoming meeting, the organizer, Nate Moss will be presenting on Open Source Software for Images and Photos. This is simply a modified version of a presentation he recently gave to the Lancaster County Photography Meetup Group. He will be covering a variety of Open Source programs, leaving out the Windows ones, and focusing on the possible workflows that might benefit anyone working with images.
We all wish the best for Chris Moates as he was called away on short notice. I’m sure we will be excited to learn about IPv6 at another meeting.
IPv6, that mysterious connectivity protocol that has some people excited, some scared and most confused, will all be brought to light on September 11 at our monthly meeting. Ever wish you could connect directly to your home computer, but figured the only way was with a public v4 address or a VPN solution? IPv6 has more to offer than 340,282,366,920,938,463,463,374,607,431,768,211,456 addresses.
System Administrator Chris Moates will be presenting IPv6 starting with the answer to the big question: Why do I need to know this? Then going in-depth and explaining the many benefits of turning to the protocol.
The meeting will take place as always at ITT Tech Harrisburg Campus on September 11 at 6:30pm
See you there!
