Meeting tonight!

One last reminder that there is a CPLUG meeting tonight (1/12) at 6:30 PM at ITT…

Bill Hathaway will be doing a talk on ZFS, a combined file system and logical volume manager designed by Sun Microsystems. ZFS can do a lot of cool things (volume management, snapshots, copy-on-write clones, continuous integrity checking, automatic repair, RAID-Z) and is definitely worth checking out!

After Bill’s talk, Nathan Powell will be doing a 5-minute lightning talk on OpenSolaris on the Desktop. And of course, we’ll be ordering pizza too. :)

See you there!

Less than 24 hours left to register for CPOSC

One final reminder… registration for the Central PA Open Source Conference ends tonight at midnight. If you haven’t registered yet, now is your last chance. :)

For full details about the conference, check out www.cposc.org!

Magento and LimeSurvey

BTW, there were two talks at meeting on March 10. The first one was about PHP survey software called LimeSurvey, presented by Dennis. The second talk was about the Magento e-commerce application and VirtualBox, presented by Bob.

The next meeting will be tomorrow, April 14, at ITT. Check the mailing list for details!
